Brian Halquist started promoting pro-boxing in 1989. In 1997 he started the popular “Battle at the Boat” boxing series at the Emerald Queen Casino. On January 9, 2010 the series celebrated its 75th show. The series is one of the longest running at any casino in the United States. Halquist has been an associate promoter of Playboy Boxing at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills. HBO, Showtime, ESPN, Direct TV, Azteca, Univision, Telemundo and Fox Sports Network have all broadcast shows from the series.
Brian Peters Promotions has so far promoted 19 professional boxing cards. We’ve also hosted gala dinner’s for Mike Tyson and Sugar Ray Leonard in Dublin. As well as showcasing the cream of Irish Boxing we have also promoted world champions including Naseem Hamed, Chris Eubank, Steve Collins, Wayne McCullough, Montell Griffin, Crisanto Espana, Shea Neary, Jose Antonio Rivera, Shannan Taylor and Sebastiaan Rothmann.

Promoted initial show at Northern Winz Casino (Rocky Boy, MT) at an outside event. But awaiting construction of Hotel/Event Center for future shows. I boxed professionally to get the feel of the atmosphere and to further my boxing career. But original 9-5 employment had me scrambling for workout hours and family dedication finally put me down for the count. My initial show was a success and i’ve been asked over and over when i can put on another, so i have future shows in mind and also have a stable of fighters i am now working with. I will keep you all posted for future events.
I have been involved in boxing for over ten years. I own and operate my own private 3500 square foot gym in Riverside, California. We deal mostly in pro fighters we have one woman and five male fighters we have been open about a year and a half we have excellent promoter contacts.
